Description
Last year, I did a fun series of drawings in which I counted down to my birthday, which is April 29th. I had a lot of fun with that project, I decided to do it again! So, here we have my fourth drawing in my birthday countdown. Today is day 7. Only 6 more days until my birthday!
Here's another picture based on one of my Sketchbook of Fun drawings, & it's a piece of movie fanart that presents a humorous "What If?" scenario. One of my favorite holiday movies of all time is The Nightmare Before Christmas, & I purposefully used the term "holiday" because it's both a Halloween movie & a Christmas movie at once! One time, I thought "Wouldn't it be funny if Jack Skellington discovered Easter as opposed to Christmas?" So, I did just that! Here we see Jack Skellington, the Pumpkin King of HalloweenTown, finding himself in EasterTown & singing a new rendition of the song "What's This?", & he is surrounded by Easter eggs, crosses, flying jelly beans, a chick, a gumdrop bush, & even the Easter Bunny himself (I did my best to model him after his cameo in The Nightmare Before Christmas, from the scene where Lock, Shock, & Barrel mistook him for Santa Claus & brought him back to Jack instead, much to Jack's annoyance!). By the way, I know I'm kind of late & should have posted this on Easter almost a week ago, but I wanted this as part of my countdown. Anyway, maybe someday Tim Burton & Henry Selick will do The Nightmare Before Easter as the sequel to their beloved classic!
Enjoy, & now there are only 6 days more until my birthday!
