essentially the same as green but rather than their power being based off Will (green) its based off of Rage (red)

But what does the ring allow the wearer to do?

create constructs through thoughts/imagination ex: i want to punch a guy in the face so i imagine a boxing glove and an "insert color her" version of said boxing glove appears from the ring and he/she can use it to punch that person. it can basically create anything your imagination can think of as long as you have enough oof the emotion which represents your ring like with green you have to have willpower, rad/rage, blue/compassion, indigo/hope, violet/love, yellow/fear, orange/greed, black/death, white/life. you have to have enough of whichever of those emotional qualities in order to be able to create the constructs from the ring.

I thought it was cool how the black rings were able to take over the heroes who were dead once. The black ring has the additional power of making the bearer evil and following the black lantern, in the cases of superman, wonder woman and such... I haven't read brightest day yet.

I remember in the comic that a green lantern took on the power of the red ring. It drove him crazy with rage and made him unstable. I think the most someone could handle would be three rings without being utterly destroyed

That, and do you honestly believe the rings of life and death would work together? The only combination I see working with little to no side-effects would be the green and blue rings, since the blue ring depends on the green ring to work at full power, and the green ring can be amplified by the blue ring.

Honestly, I've been lost to American comics (blame Manga). I personnally thought that there were only the yellow and green ones. But there could be like a robot or something that could wield them all.

A robot has no emotions, and emotions are what power the ten color rings, but yeah, I see where you're coming from. It would be awesome if someone could use all ten of them.
Here's a thought. Batman and the green ring. THE Batman wielding a power entirely focused around will and imagination.

not sure. it hasnt happened yet. the ring chooses the bearer anyways. only thing thats come close is Hal Jordan taking the entire green lantern corps rings and becoming Parallax.

But I just read something about Guy Gardner having both Red and Green after someone died and he was able to wield both.

partially...one would negate the other from time to time though so he wasnt really able to use both at the same time.

It would still be cool if someone would be capable to wield every single ring at the exact same time and unleash a super rainbowy type blast(that is not meant to be gay). Although to do that there would have to be some sort of construction of a being who has all emotions in balance or something.

yeah basically thats what it would take and yeah it would be pretty cool although the white lantern rings are basically all emotions combined while the black are the complete lack of emotions which is why they were going after the heroes hearts during the Blackest Night story-arc (great read! hgihly recomended)

Yes DC, create some sort of monster or group of monsters that can use all the rings. Personally, I hope the good guys create it for good reasons but it blows up in all of there faces.
