A carving I've done on a very unusual piece of redwood. This one turned out unusually dark. That's one of the things I like about redwood. The colors, grain, and hardness can vary from one area to another making for a carving adventure.www.facebook.com/pages/Its-a-B…

Thanks a lot, my Friend. I appreciate what you say. I do have to 'listen' to the wood before I actually carve on it. If I 'listen' and do the carving accordingly, it goes well. If I don't 'listen,' I may get a carving done, but it will be problematic and I won't like it.
