Yes; there are a few rivers and one lake nearby. There is another place in this area called 'Crater Lake' which is almost perfectly clear and about 2,000 feet deep. I haven't been there yet but definitely plan to.

Holy shit!! The rain really came down the other night. It is the reason for the power outages....the wind blew down power lines. Tree branches are all over the place. Hopefully it's the last big storm. It was nice to see the sun today.

I can't help feeling humble in front of this big mountain... At the same time, I will want to put my walking shoes on my feet to hike until the top : I'll want to be into this mist...
