Thank you for stating the obvious.

If you have a problem with asparagus having hair, why bother coming into this page in the first place. go find a better hobby.

It's an interesting (albeit unorthodox) choice to put hair on asparagus characters. Could you describe the artistic process you had when choosing the design of this artwork?

For example, did the asparagus vegetables have a special meaning for you that influenced to you to choose them over, say, carrots or sprouts? What went into the decision to have the asparagus tips sprouting in the back of/above the characters' hair?

This is not meant as a comment of disrespect, and I am sorry that you assumed my previous comment was meant to disparage you as an person, when it was a simple observation/criticism.

I apologize for my snippy-ness. Please forgive me.

Well, for this fan series, I wanted it to be more distinguished from the original series as much as possible. It is set in a sort of alternate universe where vegetables have hair, including asparagus species...asparagi?...aspara?.... You get the idea.

This also gives them more diversity and sets them more apart from one another.

I know it may look strange to some people, and in many ways it is very absurd.

Asparagus having hair covering their spears would just look downright odd. So to work around that, I sorta invented a way so that their spears grow out of the top and the hair is placed around it. so...I guess you can say they have a bald spot of sorts.

Think of Mickey Mouse...when he turns his head, there should be no way his ears are stacked. You should really only see one ear.Β  yet in just about every form of media he's in, his ears are stacked. Cartoon logic at it's finest!Β

Doesn't make a lick of sense and yet, it somehow WORKS!

Thanks. I'm one of the autistic children in the world and to know that someone appreciates us, it lifts our moods up from a bad day.
