Ermahgawsh.
I didn't think it would take so long!
This is my favorite Pokemon Legendary (Next to Entei, but dear lord... So many details on him it's scary!)
And so of course I had to do the pixel art for it.
I had the original picture but this was made completely from scratch.
So anyone who's like, "Oh my god you need to credit the original picture,"
It goes to the artist for pokemon.
Ken Sugimori? Right? Idk.

Just saying, it really looks too close to the original B/W/2 sprite. I'd try making different poses instead of the same pose as the original.

I'll definitely note that, I kinda just picked the first picture I saw
I'm not trying to make it look just like the original, definitely, I want it to look like I'm actually TRYING instead of copying and pasting

I just look up a bunch of pictures of the Pokemon and make a pose based on all the angles. Since Pokemon is popular and easy to find art for, it's not too hard to get enough reference pictures to create a pose. [link] I used the B/W/2 Altaria's sprite's colours, but I referenced the pose from other images and made it from scratch.

I'm probably going to redo this picture, considering that I don't want people to think I'm stealing the artwork or something!

Technically it IS art theft, if you don't ask them...
And so do I (unless it says, y'know, 'You don't need to ask permission to use)mostly because I think it's rude to utilize someone elses strengths in art and claim it as their own..
But that's my opinion, I suppose, and there are plenty of people who don't understand that concept
