Awesome! I like the Zoo as well. There are so many things to check out in Oregon. I guess it just depends on what you are in to.

Hillsboro, Oregon is nice. There is  Sake One out there and you can do Sake tasting. If your going to Portland the Pearl District is one the best areas to explore. Ummm driving up The gorge is always nice. Very pretty drive. Any of the Fall are nice to visit like Multnomah Falls. Crater Lake National Park  is a good place to go to. I haven't been there myself but I really want to go. The “Peter Iredale” is a shipwreck off the coast of Astoria, Oregon. That is also really neat. Tillamook Cheese Factory is good an awesome place to visit for ice-cream or cheese. Here are some other things to see:

Thank you for the recommendations, I didn't get a chance to check them all out, but I did stop by the Falls and Crater Lake, it was really beautiful.
