Yeah I know many people who do not like bugs, especially spiders. I am little on the odd side. I like to hold them well at least the non lethal ones.

tarantula are lethal though, or can be anyway. Ya bugs are facinating to me, specially hive mind creatures. science says that they don't have any level of self thought but i don't know if i believe that.

Depends on the tarantula. Mine preferred to kick off articulating hairs rather than bite. She always gave Β warning before she did. I was never bitten in the time that I owned her. Also it is just good to know how to handle them. Don't grab them from above or they will think you are a bird trying to eat them. If you want them on your hand push their abdomen and they will walk on your hand.
They don't it is all chemical reactions. At least with creatures like ants and bees.
