Description As you can see, I had a bit of a harder time nailing down Cleo than I did the other ghouls I've done so far. Not sure why she's so tough for me. Well... for one thing, I totally don't have a decent marker to depict her skintone, so I did a lot of experimenting with that.

Has anyone else noticed that in the cartoon her eyes are light blue but the doll has kind of hazel eyes? I went true to the doll.

Yeah, if you look in the middle image on the right, she's holding her snake, Hissette. But as part of my doodle collages, and purely for my own amusement, I've been drawing the Monster High ghouls as My Little Ponies.

I love your drawing of her with Hissette. It makes me feel like there is more to her than, you know, the shallow Cleo we all typically see in the cartoon. It still makes me sad that her diary didn't have any deeper insight into her personality and whatnot.

well she is a sunny tan color I do have the gloom beach doll
I dont like her personality tho

Yes, the sunny tan color is what I can't seem to get. I have skin tones in the light and dark range... but nothing in the middle.

I think her personality is another part of why I have a hard time drawing her... She's not my favorite either.

I like the gold in her hair but the tinsel crap just shreds if you try to brush it. Bleh.
