I got very nostalgic and watched a lot of InuYasha right before, and while I was in Cardiff last week.. I didn’t have my laptop with me, so when I felt the urge to draw I made these ink drawings and geez must say I really love most them them..I'd forgotten how gently Sesshoumaru handled Rin when he revived her. This is a redraw from that scene. I rewatched it 5 times because I couldn't believe how softly he looked at her at that point.
The other one's Kouga sulking about the shard in his arm being taken. ^^

Kouga's another fave of mine.
I'm a Sesshoumaru fan all the way!
However, I love Kouga as well.

I do love Kouga art. I know there are some out there but not enough.
And he's just an awesome character.

always sad when there's not enough fanart of a good character. It's too bad that there mainly seems to be fanart of InuYasha, Kagome and Sesshoumaru, and side characters much less attention.

Actually, you should do more art with the secondary characters. They are as important, if not more.
Who would Sesshoumaru be if he didn't have his Rin and Jaken and Ah-Un (Can't forget the dragon, everyone overlooks the dragon)?
Who would Inuyasha and Kagome be if they didn't have their Tachi.
Naraku is nothing without his incarnations.
Kouga is just a lone wolf without Ginta and Hakkakku.
There is Totosai and Myoga.
Believe it or not, even the swords are characters.
There is something very special about your sketches.
I feel you can give those characters extralife.

You're absolutely right! I've pretty much always been more interested in the side-characters, because they give life to the main characters and the story. I thought about drawing some of the animals and it's a good think you mentioned Ah-Un, because despite loving them (They're so cute with Rin <3), I would've forgotten them as well..

Let me give you some inspiration and you can build from that.
Do you remember the episode where Sesshoumaru came looking for Totosai because he found out that after all his work of perfecting the Meidou Zengetsuha he was expected to relinquish the technique to Inuyasha he wanted to kill the sword maker?
What I found so funny is that from a hidden corner you could see Totosai and his cow, shivering in fear.
That was SO funny!
OH, yeah, Ah-Un is precious! We don't get enough pics of Ah-Un.
If you want to go any further perhaps their lives after Kagome comes back through the well or during that period that she's away.
I can only imagine the conversation Kaede had with Sesshoumaru in regards to Rin.

Hee, yes he's very funny when he's cowardly, but I usually feel like drawing him when he's playing dumb (or actually senile, we can never be sure)

Kaede being elderly I imagine her having invited him into her hut while Rin is probably busy playing with Shippou.
At first, he's quite reluctant to enter a human home but out of respect for thee elderly woman, he concedes to it.
Inside, perhaps with stew cooking upon a firepit between them, she starts to talk to him on how it's important that
Rin learns to cohabitate with humans like herself.
He's probably not too convinced since he has trust issues but he silently listens to what Kaede has to say.
He considers the arguments and do find validity in them.
Kaede may be old but she's not the type to cower to death threats.
Which is the reason he doesn't offer any.
