Just look at all those strokes. I really love the idea of this. The sky is also breath taking.

Very well done, It isn't every day you come across someone who can utilize linework effectively in paintings. I would work a little bit on your value structures and moreso atmospheric sensibilities. Give the viewer places to rest their eyes, with less details and more broad, confident strokes. For example, the mountains are beautifully rendered, as well as the clouds, but I believe in some places they could be toned down a bit to show distance, and thus the more detailed areas would work as movement points. The same could be said for the bright white river down towards the bottom, just glaze over it lightly with the atmospheric color you have.
Also, some size relationships read a little bit strangely, but all in all this is mostly nitpicking - I suppose the truest compliment I can pay you is that I can only find minor details to complain about.

I very much appreciate your critiques, I agree on the atmospherics and its definitely in detail, but I think detail is something in all my work. I seem to like doing it to much, maybe I should do less. Though this is an older painting for me, I also see many mistakes in this.

Wow, everything about this is great! Beyond the amazing art, evoking the sense of purpose and history is such a rarely done thing in fantasy.

Thats a truly rare and wonderful comment to give. Thankyou, I did try that with this piece, making the concept well. You're very right about fantasy that usually doesn't evoke that purpose feeling. I cant seem to find it,only just rarely.

if you're trying to support art with those points and not use it for profit. then indeed I like ur journal C:

oh totally! - i definitely love to support good art.
i have different kind of journals. all with qualitative art...
journals about unseen artist (depending on just a few pageviews), watcherjournals (there i feature watchers who have amazing quality), sometimes i will make mixed journals with a theme, etc.
and to good artists i also give them points...so they might also get a premium account and a chance to make journals.
and i started to participate in the dA-Linksystem. Did you hear about that? I think it's a great way to give artist some exposure. you Link one of their artpieces (or even more - up to you) as thumb (if you are a premium member) in your art comments. so people who see your art and enjoy it, might check out their art. - do you know what i mean? I jut started with it yesterday so i just have Linked 3 artists under my works but I think that is a great thing...
i just thought - i might could link your art! Since you are in a different genre you probably would be seen by artists who are not into painting...that might good...

dA-Linksystem, I haven't heard of it, its simply putting someone's thumb in my 'artist comments' right? I haven't been doing that, but I think I'll try it when I post a new piece C:

wow. that's one of the best ideas i've seen in a long time. it's great to come across an idea which isn't a gimmick or a redesign or a regular ninja with a new kind of blade. the fallen titan, once so powerful, now at the mercy of these tiny humans. the posture, the incompleteness, is so evocative.
then the eye strays to the magnificent vista and all then, all the wonderful little storytelling scenes. i love how the people look so unlike classical mountain-dwellers.
all in all, a rich, imaginative, evocative piece! hats off to you.
P.S. that flag is ENORMOUS.
