Description Gabe and Victoria aren't dating, at all. No way. They're like best friends, if anything. Victoria goes to him when her heart gets broken, and he goes to her when he's feeling like shit about himself. They have a relationship based in support.

But that doesn't mean they can't share one, two, three, lord knows how many kisses, every now and then. Maybe even making out. Or cuddling, or spooning. Sometimes Gabe will go as far as fondling her boobs and sneaking a hand up her skirt. But that doesn't really mean anything, right? Best friends do that all the time. …Right?
--

Victoria is a no-care kind of girl. Independent, strong, with a good sense of humor, doesn't take herself (or anything) too seriously… Gabe thinks she's just his type of girl, and that maybe that's exactly why they're not together. He can't let himself just have what he wants that easily. He needs challenges and just a tad of disgrace in his life in order to discover who he really is, and if he's deserving enough of his blessings.
--

Victoria looks at Gabe from the corner of her eye while they're all out partying. She sees him grind against some blonde girl, his obnoxious laugh loud over the music and he grips her hips harder and the girl just rubs herself against Gabe, completely shameless. And Victoria is not jealous, at all. Please. She takes a shot and stands up, dragging Nate to the dance floor with her. Nate looks just a little bit confused, but just goes with it when Victoria puts her arms over his shoulders and moves her hips against him.
--

A journalist from some girly magazine requests to talk to Victoria one night when they're in Seattle, and she just nods, "Sure!"

"Ok, Victoria, we're almost done, thank you for accepting this little impromptu interview!"

"Aw, it's fine, really." She waves her hand dismissively.

"Last question is… 'If you could date anyone from your own band, who would it be, and why?'" The girl reads off a paper.

Victoria tries to look as if she's actually thinking up an answer, index resting on her chin and all. "Um… I would probably have to say… Gabriel. He's the only one who knows how to cheer me up/not piss me of when I'm on my days of the month!" She laughs a little and the journalist giggles. "No, but honestly, he's a great guy and I think he's pretty much every girl's dream boy. He's a total sweetheart." She nods her head as she finishes.

"Aw, that's cute! Thank you again, now I have to run!" The girl says, packing her things up and standing, at the same time as Victoria, who hugs her goodbye.

Once Victoria finds herself alone again she mumbles to herself "That didn't go that bad, did it now? At least you didn't blush…"

And Gabe might, or might have not been outside the tent the entire time.
--

It's one night they're drunk off their asses, laying on the back lounge of the bus, Gabe's head lying on Victoria's lap, that he finally speaks up.

"Vicky-T. I have something to say." He proclaims, speech slurred.

She giggles and looks down at him, smiling. "What is it, Gabey?"

"I think I love you, Vicky-T."

She looks at him, bewildered, eyebrow arched. "I love you too?"

He shakes his head and sits up. "No, not like that, Vic." He puts his palm up. "I heard the interview?"

"But that was nothing, Gabe."

"Nate told me you were looking at me dancing with a chick the other night and you looked pissed off, then practically impregnated him on the dance floor." He looks slightly amused. "Very angrily, might I add?"

"Gabriel, that's bullshit. What are you even trying to say?"

"Nothing." He shakes his head. "Shit. I need to shower and get some sleep. Bianca's joining us tomorrow for a couple dates. I totally forgot." He simply gets up and leaves.
--

Things get awkward for a couple days after that. Victoria tries to just do her thing, and spends time with Nate and Ryland instead. They go out and do shots and Gabe stays in with Bianca, or takes her to dinner or whatever it is they enjoy doing. She doesn't care.

One of the following days she's sitting on the bus lounge by herself, uploading some video she's just finished editing to her YouTube account, when the door suddenly bursts open.

Gabe peeks inside, searching around the bus with his eyes. "Yo, where are the boys?"

"Out." She responds without even looking up.

Gabe just walks inside, closing the door behind him and sits next to her. "Victoria…"

"Yes?" She quickly answers, looking at him from the corner of her eye.

"Why are things so… Awkward? It's so fucking annoying not even being able to fucking talk to you."

"Stop swearing. You made them awkward."

"Look at me when you're talking to me, will you?" He says, making her turn her head around. She stares purposefully at him. "I'm not gonna get anything out of this talk, right?" She shakes her head. "What's it gonna take to smother things out?"

"I don't know, Gabe. You made everything so complicated…"

"I'm complex. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to fuck shit up… I mean yeah, I was drunk and I said shit I shouldn't have… but I'm sorry. For ruining stuff between us."

She nods slowly. "Okay. Where's Bianca?"

He rolls his eyes. "I just dropped her off at the airport. She had to go home because apparently Vera Wang can't work without her. What-the fuck-ever." He shrugs.

"Oh. That's too bad…" She says, looking at him with just a small hint of come get me in her eyes.

He notices, and he looks at her up and down. "Yeah… That's just… Too bad…" He shrugs and puts her hair behind her ear. "Will you keep me company?"

She shakes her head unbelievingly, but gives him a small smile. "Only if you'll cuddle me when it gets too cold."

"I'll cuddle you whenever, Toria." He says before kissing the tip of her nose. "I missed you".

"And I missed you, Gabriel. Don't make me miss you again…" Victoria pecks his lips quickly.

They stare at each other for several minutes, not knowing exactly what comes next, until Gabe suddenly breaks the silence.

"…Wanna make out?" He grins, and she smacks his arm, trying to look offended, but the giggles escaping her mouth betray her.

"You are horrible, Gabriel!" She laughs. "But okay."
