Description
Gigantopithecus was an Asian genus of giant apes that roamed China, India and Vietnam and is known from 3 species. Gigantopithecus blacki being the biggest and is believed to have been standing at 3 meter tall on its hind-legs. Despite what some sites and bigfoot-enthusiats may tell you, we actully haven't found any pelvis or legs of the creature so little is know about its posture but it's highly likely it would have been mainly quadropedal and walked like a gorilla.I got inspired from the new Kong: Skull Island movie and wanted to showcase the real life equivalent!
