I find it really heartwarming when someone connects so well with their character(s). Pounce really meant a lot to me and I'm still working with him and his story to make him more... me-ish? He hasn't been my sona since 2011 but he's still there.

I think it's natural to take a break from a character for awhile! I've had long spouts of time before where I just don't draw 13. In 2017 I felt a lot more connected to Cuello since I had just moved out and everything was brand new, and I think a part of my brain just regressed into being a small stupid animal as a coping mechanism haha. At this point in my life I can connect with them both pretty equally.

Haha, well at least that small stupid animal makes you happy. I've been inspired by this conversation to rework the ol' guy along with some of my other old gross neon 2010 monstrosities.
