III LOVE THIS HEAD SO MUCH! I've heard that its harder to work with fleece than fur, but you ROCKED this. It could just be the way the picture was taken, but the head does look a bit large? Overall, though, this head is AMAZING and I would totally buy/wear it! You're great with expressions!

Thank you so much! It took a lot more work but I personally enjoyed it more than working with fur. Usually fursuit heads are pretty large in scale with everything else (my first time seeing fursuits I was stunned) so I'd say Vinery is about normal range but her ears and hair definitely make her seem a lot bigger. Thanks again! <3

This is a very pretty head! I think I prefer fursuits made with fleece to the usual longer fur. It looks neater.

Awesome! Glad to see you posted more of this! Do you mind if I ask you what fur type you used for the back of the head and the hair, or is the hair kanekelon? Also, what's the process you use to make your pose-able ear?

I used shag fur fromΒ www.fabricempire.com/ for the inner ear/back of the head, then used a wig fromΒ www.epiccosplay.com/ for the hair!
For the poseable part of the ear I installed armature wire into the foam. I'm currently looking into a sturdier material for the ears so they can be more durable and reactive when the wire is installed.

So the poseable ear is just upholstery foam/foamies with a metal rod fixed to it?
If you're looking for a firmer material you could always try multiple layers of thinner foam!
