After restraining Kimimaro with her Tree Binding Death technique, Sakura attempted to end Kimimaro by stabbing him while he was incapacitated. However, Kimimaro’s Shikotsumyaku enabled his body to heal physical injuries; as when he protruded bones from his body, the openings in his skin would heal immediately. Witnessing her opponent’s healing capabilities, Sakura feared that she was out of her league.

She used Kurenai's genjutsu! Lol cool alternative. Reminds me of Sakura's attack in PS2 Naruto Ultimate Ninja game. Where it was like Kurenai's genjutsu attack but with cherry blossoms.

Wish one Kishimoto give Sakura more development in land of the wave arc as three team combo against rogue mist ninja and Haku.

Same here instead of just protecting the bridge builder. She started pretty weak and pitiful, I admit, but she started to improve in Shippuden.
