Man, what game are they playing now? O,O Could it be, their first kiss? O,O

So glad that I'm able to keep with my one page per week and this one is a tad (just a smidge) early...sorta. lol

I'm happy with how this came out and man it didn't take nearly as much work as I originally thought. Still spent about two evenings on it though.

And now Louie could be peering right into Ella's cleavage, except he's too busy gloating.

I don't know what to make of Ella's shell-shocked expression in the second panel. She looks indignant and disappointed? As if she discovered that somehow Louie had taken advantage of or betrayed her. Except that he hadn't. I really don't know.

Hmm, I had intended to portray with no uncertain terms that she isn't as unaffected by him as she claims. The closer he gets the more she's flustered and even before he turns back to her the last panel she kinda knows where it's going but is powerless to stop it. So, not disappointed, but this could be compared to a page earlier in the comic where it'd be her turn for her heart to be sweating on the treadmill... which probably would've been a great addition, only I wanted to create greater tension here and I think maybe adding that little comical element might've ruined it.

No, it's all right. It's Louie, after all, and his thrice-damned backbone. I like that fact that he has other priorities besides making cow eyes at Ella.

In retrospect, I don't know what made me think that Ella is disappointed. Maybe the slant of her eyes or rather the straight upper lid that invoke the impression of sadness rather than shock? Dunno, just chalk it up to me reading too much into little details.

Yeah, I don't like the thought of characters getting hung up on someone like they can't function normally without them. Since Will is a smart guy he should act like one

I still think that your take on her expression is very valid mainly because that's how HE could see it too. It could go either way, maybe confusing him. I don't think there's any wrong way to read her expression. I think you're just very insightful!

Hey there girl, ^_^

It was great chatting with you today! As promised, I wanted to send a few comments along about your comic page! Congrats on finishing yet another work, and so quickly too! You're really on a roll now! Keep it up! I'm looking forward to seeing what else you come up with!

As for my thoughts on this page, I love the little chibi on the top left-hand corner! LOL! Great expression there! I also really like the color that you added to the Twister board. It just really sticks out; rightfully so since color is a key element in that game! Like I mentioned on the phone, I also like the closeness between the figures. I know you're a big fan of romantic tension that's up close and personal like this! You can feel the closeness, not only with their bodies moving together in the top panel, but especially with their faces only inches part in the last panel in particular! *^_^* I like the way you depicted the lips, especially the highlights! I also really like the soft curls of the girl's hair, which still has that almost calligraphy like look to them! And as I mentioned last time, I really do like the patterning in the clothing, as I think it adds a lot to the piece! Once again, kudos on a job well done! You should be proud of yourself! Things are definitely looking up with your art these days! Go! Go! Go!

It was great chatting with you as well! ^_^b I'm about to get started on Page 17, not sure how far I will get though as I'm very tired. It's gonna be one heck of a page though...hehehehe! xD

I think it shows that I really had a lot of fun with the chibi...I do in general anyways I did feel it would be important to add the color, I like to add some color here and there even though it's mainly a b/w comic. I hope it comes off as original more so than distracting! I'm also glad that go the closeness right. It's a bit more difficult in art than movies to portray that drama (at least for me it is). I feel like you have to get the pose or the look just right, or that shot and you don't have a lot of frames to work with. I mean, I guess I'm not restricted, but I want it to be concise and to the point.
