My ElfSelf is my oc from Dragon Age Inquisition - El'lana Aemma Lavellan (Lana for short) - for ChrissaBug 's #elfmyself challenge!

When I originally created Lana I gave her a darker skin tone and a different hairstyle, but her personality was going to be more me.

However, after playing DAI and finishing some of my fan-fic writing, I decided I would use this challenge to change her looks so that she resembled more of me. What I ended up changing was making her skin tone lighter, and her hairstyle to be half-up/ half-down (which is how I wear my hair 90% of the time - I HATE having hair in my face 😅)

What I kept though was her lilac eyes, white silver hair, and lilac vallaslin.

Some head-cannon details:

* On her lips and right cheek are permanent, deep scars. When she came fumbling out of the Fade she immediately fainted and landed face first on some rumble which resulted in her lips splitting open (ouch!!). And the cut on her cheek was from flying debris in the Fade. Solas was the one who patched her up while she was still unconscious in Haven.
* The necklace around her neck was given to her by Keeper Deshanna before Lana left her clan to spy on the Conclave. Its the tree symbol that represents Mythal and belonged to the Keeper.
* Although you cannot see it now because she's wearing gloves, she does have a ring on her right hand that was given to her by one of her best friends (Tamara) on Lana's birthday. The ring is made from silverite and has three stones - a purple amethyst in the middle and a diamond on each side. Tamara got it by trading one of their ironbark blades to a dwarf in a nearby town.
* With her new half-up hairstyle, it will have a hairpin in it that used to belong to her mother (who passed away when Lana was very young). I'm yet to draw this hair pin but its cannon for me now that she always wears it in her hair
