Just found your work and it's amazing. The colors and subtle/flat textures serve to bring the viewer into the environment in a very visceral way. This one struck me because the portrait orientation is unusual in the landscape genre, but this one (and your other portrait-oriented landscapes) really focuses attention on what's important and gives a sense of dynamism to the image.
