I've had a fondness for Tigers Eye since I found some in a back drawer of my Grandmother's jewelry collection way back when I was a young one. Curiosity of the cat? My Grandmother loved it, she would hide little stones, raw gems and crystals for me to find. Good Memories! Black Onyx and Tigers Eye were always my favorites, so I naturally put them together, but adding the rectangles of Mother-of-Pearl just seemed to offset the other's so well, I went ahead and made the bracelet to go with it. Those fantasy pendants are called Kambala stones, such a strange and mysterious name, the striations in the picture are actually in those stones.I used black onyx in four sizes, seed beads, 4mm, 6mm and one 8mm with six drops of Kambala stone pendants, 10 rectangles of Mother of Pearl abalone and 27 pieces of Tiger's eye in various shapes and sizes, both the bracelet and necklace have a Moon and Star toggle closure. I hope you enjoyed this as much as I enjoyed making them!

Time for a silly question; since all I've done is wire wrapping, I literally have no idea how to make a simple, straightforward necklace without it. What kind of string or such do you put the beads on for this stuff? I literally just don't know what to buy. Thank you in advance!

I always like your stuff....I am always envious of all those gemstones!!! I have some, but can't afford the ones I really want....like labradorite, crazy lace agate, rhodocrisite, peruvian opal, etc... lol I am getting my dad's disability check in a few months (he passed away in October of last year) so I plan on spoiling myself with $200 in all those beads I could never afford!!! lol I got lots of tuition to pay too...unfortunately. Anywho....something to look forward to right!?!
