I love new photos that bring to mind old photos. The scene and its somber, grim quality makes me think of something found in a photobook, generations-old.

Hehe, it's funny that they did that. They were probably curious about you. Do you think that it would have been easy to go up to them and pet them? I've never been around sheep before, so I was just wondering.

There was an electric fence so I could go over there but it would be kind of a shocking experience, hehe.
They were very curious indeed, they came very close so if there was no fence I think the possibility would have been there to pet them.
Sheep are cool animals I think, they have a very distinct behaviour

Great contrast and use of focus! I also like the movement and line that the sheep create. It kind of looks like a 3 on an angle :] Over all, it's a great composition!
