Wow. Armor is great. I always wonder how to draw helmet on animal head. Your style is very attractive.

The bec de corbin warhammer is excellent, with its shaped, angular handle!Β

Gah, I seriously hope you're keeping a portfolio/collection of all of these armor designs. You could show that to any movie studio and they'd be fools not to hire you on the spot. Seriously! This is your element!

I assume that the firece canine behind that helmet is not
going to be very forgiving. But the design is quite cool. I
assume that he is a wolf, so the raven mace is quite a
fitting weapon, as the raven is known as the wolf bird.
The armor looks a lot like in depictions of the Vikings or
their warrior gods, the Aesir, which fits into the fact that
they live up in the north.
The armor is made out of a lot of chains, iron plates and
even fur, which means high defense, low reducement of
speed and protection from cold in addition to the fur they
already have on their bodies.

Nope! Just created the idea, but they will have a reputation of beeing fierce and almost untoppable.
Β The raven will play a bigger role in the story, but it has nothing to do with the race of it's wielder. I just found a wolf fitting for the immage.
As far as we know, the Vikings didn't wear any kind of plate armor exept for the helmets and occational ribbs and square scales. And that was rare. These warriors is of a bit more... "refined" order of fighters. And their armor is thereby a bit more expressive and complicated than the historical viking arsenal.
When we come to the purpose of the design, you're pretty much reading my intentions :3Β
