Description Here's the colored version of the previous shaded one.

I stopped myself from starting to put in all the main colors when I felt that this cold colorless effect was just the thing I was looking for. I'm quite happy with the result.

I felt a bid down today, so I looked at the beginning of my comic and realized that It's not even matching my current version of the opening tragedy of poor Haze's adventure. And at the same time, I had a very sad and emotional song playing in the background.. this is the result..
*sigh* Why do we have to torment our characters so?...

Anyhoo, I wanted to make an immage with a dark and sad theme, that spoke as much for itself as possible. And it was a perfect oppertunity to try out my three first Promarkers! And I must say that I LOVE them. First I forgot that the light were supposed to be cold. So the first subtile shadow is made with a cold grey. I decided to use a more dominant warm grey to fix it.

Poor baby... it's good to see Haze again, but dang...not like this. :C

This is beautiful, both in a technical and atmospheric sense. Music is really such wonderful creative ammunition, and you did a great job of capturing the sadness, I think.

I'm afraid the world isn't the most friendly place for this fox....

I'm glad you think so^^ That means alot!
Have you ever connected to a moment of drawing and a part in an emotional piece of music that you just have to take a shivering breath and just for a slight moment.. feel the emotions of what your characters are going through?

Gosh, I live for those moments. The pinnacle of inspiration. It's so powerful but so fleeting, like a wonderful dream that you can only hope to remember properly.

Well, let's look at the comic for a sec... oh geez, this picture is
more subtle about [Spoiler Alert for those, who didn't read
the comic, yet] the death of his mother than the comic, where
you can see in the reflection of his eyes what happened. It
can be said that your comic reflects quite well on what war
actually was like before people started to see moral failure in
certain actions.

Yea.. what happens to her is the same though.. The difference is in the matter ov when and how Haze were taken to the Army, as you se here, he's left by his mother's side, which brings up another question about the killer's motif.
But whe it comes to the sake of cruelty at war, This is not worse than much that still happens today.

That certainly rises a question that might have some
more impact on the story itself. Quite a mystery, indeed.
I might alter my statement. I was originally only focused
on the establishment of peaceful relationships in the
region our countries are in after centuries of conflict.
But alas, that is all I meant to it. World wide it's overall
still as messed up as it was centuries back.
