Description
A bit of a conceptual sketch as Moriarty breaks Sherlock's mind to bits. 2nd sketch for the first in 's Dance series.Done in drawing ink and watercolor, quickly becoming my new favorite things to play with.

This is brilliant. I love Sherlock's emty eyes which contrast so much with all the colours around him, John upside down at the top of the picture, and God Moriarty's face... Truly amazing piece, thank you so much! Ink and watercolor was such a good idea for a conceptual painting, because it makes the whole seem all the mor oneiric. I love the way you mingled colours too, from John's wound especially, having it drip towards Sherlock and drowning with the blue shades coming from Moriarty. I want to say that the light in the piece is although wonderful, and spot-on: for John, the light seems to fall on the ropes preventing him to go to Sherlock, but on Sherlock and Moriarty, it is almost lunar, and rather reminds of a romantic scene between lovers. Their positions even seem to evoke a kiss, which is all the more horrible and perfect. Again, thank you so much for this beautiful picture!
