Description Garfield, trying to take a small catnap on my bed. Taken with my new lens, a Canon 50mm f/1.8 II. It's not a USM and sounds a lot more like an older camera, but takes great portraits

The 50mm f/1.8 is a good prime lens, but it doesn't account for the excellent eye this talented photographer has.

hehe yes I am very thankfull to have Garfield around im thankfull for anyone and anything thats willing to pose for me hehe ^_^

Garfields a sweet kitten though, im just happy shes willing to laze around sometimes while I click away ^^

Yes, it is a school photo club. First competition of the year tomorrow... I'm so nervous for my photos. lol

hehe I feel the same way anytime I know other people will be judging my shots Im sure you wont have to worry based on the photos of yours you have on DA

Gota love this, its so sharp and in focus, though id suggest adding a border just to finish it off, also id suggest trying to do a version of this cropping tight on his head / wiskers etc.

thank you very much I took it using a no-zoom lens, a canon 50mm f/1.8 II, so I wouldnt be able to focus straight in if I got that close, and the quality wouldnt be as high if I cropped and then resized ><' hehe I might be able to capture that better with my other lens tho ^^
