Inside a small kingdom called "Underneath", which happened to take place underground (literally), there lied Prince Justin Vladimir and Princess Emerald having their newly born child, whom the three happened to be vampires; though all the baby girl had were fangs rather than any other scary features as she was only a half-vampire. Once she was given her birth name as Sweet Tooth, King Tailsbottom admitted that he was proud of his son and having to step down from the royal line. Once little Sweet Tooth was told by the King to be pacified into glowing blue-green water, she would have the chance to live her entire life as an actual vampire.

One day after around two years, a woman with long red hair, purple streaks, a couple of piercings, and angel wings barged in the room with an angry expression; her full name was Angel Bun Lica, though she's often referred to as Angelica. She pointed at Justin and shouted out her statement about him treating her like a freak merely because of the angel wings she was somewhat given through alchemy; though nobody knew what she was talking about. Because of their ignorance, Angelica charged at the baby and attacked any of those who stood in her way.

During the brutal treason, not only were Tailsbottom and Emerald injured, but Justin somehow casted a spell with one minor strike from a magic axe to suck away most of her powers; except for her flight. While he was distracted by his deceased father and endangered wife, Angelica took the baby as her desperate act of revenge and flew her way out of the kingdom. Despite being only able to fly, Angelica wielded a lance to attack any pursuers while holding the baby hostage at one point. After flying a certain distance, she discovered a hole up above a dirt slide that was covered by a rock and pushed her way through.

Once it was moved back to avoid detection, Angelica realized that she had reached into a forest at the land from above; ours. Still determined to kill the baby in a low profile, she lowered her wings, covered herself with an old cloak, and tried to find the nearest place to drown her. Once she heard footsteps, she quickly threw her into the nearest lake possible and hid into a bush. Before witnessing the fact that a french pair with a little jumpy girl was rescuing her from a distance, she turned around and saw another pair of adults actually trying to kill their baby by having it trapped inside a well to die because they didn't really want children.

Despite what she was doing, even Angelica couldn't stand the thought of any parent killing their OWN child; so she ended up killing both of them with her lance and had them and her weapon thrown inside the dried up well to rot. She carried the baby, walked away from the scene, and her cloak eventually tore itself apart. The baby boy woke up and started to imprint on her. While having a few guilty thoughts about his dead parents, Angelica imprinted herself with his giggling and decided to try and be a better parent for the sake of his well-being... and someday have her revenge against Justin.

Meanwhile, as mentioned before, Sweet Tooth was adopted by a french family in Gilandor, Illinois. Her adoptive name was officially "Trixie Evangeline Cook", her stepdad is Steven Cook, her stepmother is Pottsfield Cook, and her older step sister is Taylor Azura Cook. As she grew up during her childhood, there were times that Trixie was teased because of her fangs and she felt sad about being a freak at times. However, that didn't stop her into caring for animals so obsessively (even the ones on the street) and playing with the sugar-brained Taylor, who hardly took serious stuff... seriously.

While growing through her human years, Trixie was shown to have lavender hair, pale skin, and a really cute personality. Eventually, she became great friends with a little crow named Slurpee, who, unlike other crows which are usually scary, he was actually really funny. It meant that she had the ability to talk to animals, though Slurpee wasn't allowed in the house as wild birds usually drop all over the place. Once Trixie turned a little over 16 years old, the real story was just beginning.
