Very good use of those trees, glad they have that extra spooky touch which fits for styles like these.

This scene is amazing.
It is hard to say whether or not the shrouded figures either killed themselves, or they were hung by someone else. It is also clever how you show that one solider is attempting to bring light to the darkness of war, death, and pain by showing him to be the only one who seems to see the ugly side of war. Other soliders turn their back on it having too experience with it to see any good that may come it.

setting up the camps for the night in the Vietnam forests. the rain has somewhat stopped and some of our brothers in arms have cracked under the pressure. our platoon almost got hit with friendly napalm and we lost the platoon leader to the Vietnamese trees. i doubt i will make it back alive. i pray we make it through the night but i will get no rest as i cannot sleep without the nightmares of the trees that speak vietnamese and the sound of a rifle crack. god, forgive us for these sins we make and the lives we take and lose. guide us home with the angels by our side.
