Very very long overdue arttrade for . She wanted a superform visualization for her character Starlet. Her powers are lunar based, so I did what I could to help captivate the essence of what Elly had come up with, as well as take it a step further and bringing more lunar thematics into it.
Also, this took a bit longer than usual as the entirety of this puppy was hand painted using the watercolor brush in Firealpaca, and I barely used Photoshop at all in this except to create the lunar rune behind the character. Fun challenge, and I hope you like it. First real animation with a sonic FC that i've done in a very long time, and i was happy the style I've developed works for anthro and sonic character alike. Who knew.
Once again, so sorry for the lateness of it, but I hope that this makes up for it...

oh wow this is incredible! its literally looks like your playing an action game but showing you the mini clip, it just blown my mind with the colours and the animation looked like it took 4-5 months to be this perfect!

the animation has something in the range of 200 frames, however they are done with automation through Aftereffects, rather than tween operations.

that was not a brush xD. It was a multilayered photoshop shape i created (about 7 sections?) and i masked part of it to get the effects right. Its really just a black and white rune I designed with some post fx on it
