Commission for for his characters Anode and Cathode (two electric powered....uh..... not sures. (he never gave them a defined species *files under 'other'*).
First real test of the fire-alpaca line tool. Awesome program.
This was an on and off project for a few weeks due to school, but it really didn't take all that long when you look at time actually invested. It was just rather spread out. However, I love this composition. Buildings are the bane of my existence at this point. But yeah, the fact that I love electricity coloring more than made up for it. (also note the vending machine is an inside joke between me and a bunch of friends, so it's the 'totally-not-trying-to-be-too-serious' aspect of the image. Awesome fun, a real challenge.

The coloring on this is awesome. I'm not sure why, but for some reason the characters in this picture don't irritate me the way human-proportioned anthros usually do. It looks really good.

...the one time you actually reply to one of my comments is the time I comment not thinking that you'll ever read it. I need to watch my mouth. But yes, it's a good thing. Isn't it usually a good thing when something is appreciated by those outside its traditional audience (as long as it doesn't alienate the latter)?

Watching this being made was a real eye opening experience. I really enjoyed and I felt as though I learnt so much.
The time spent on it, was colossal by the seems of things, but my god...
The background is incredibly gorgeous, the lighting effects on the characters are just.... phwaaaa. xD
The coloring and the actual art itself is just... perfect. Genuinely in awe at how good this is.

I can understand you being unhappy with your work. After all, to an artist, their work is never truly done. xD
But honestly, this is without a doubt. Like practically all your other pieces something to be proud of. You genuinely seem to put a heck of a lot of care and attention to detail into even the tiniest bits and pieces of the art. And that's what ends up making it so unique and really well done.
Admittedly. You can only grow greater... but man, I have no idea what's ahead of you.
