- Aged him up, though he won't be 33 until this August. Doing it a little early since it's coming up anyway LOL.

Neil is the type of man who always finds a reason to smile in every situation he's in and regardless of how bad his teeth are as he always does his best to enjoy things as they go. It's also not hard for him to always look at the bright side of life, and he would often do much to lift up the hopes of others around him.

Despite his weight, Neil manages to stay confident of his form and remain proud of who he is and what he does. The comments of others don't really affect him as what matters to him is to get the job done, and he sees his weight and body build as his own advantage in his work.

Neil is also a people person, so it's not hard for him to want to socialize. In turn, he likes making friends with everyone and anyone, and he really does appreciate those who become close to him and can easily do favors for them as well.

One thing to definitely take note in his behavior however is how much he loves explosions... As in he absolutely loves them to the extent it's already dysfunctional. When at war, he will do anything in his ability to see something blow up at some point, and he gains immense joy like a child in a candy shop watching things burn in front of him. Of course, with how often he's seen and experienced explosions, notably Neil has become very loud and boisterous in how he talks. It should come as no surprise since all those explosions have made his hearing poorer than normal.

History:
Neil was born into family known for descending from a long line of bakers, and even before he was born his parents had planned for him and his siblings to follow in their ancestors' footsteps. Especially with one of Bratkowice's staple product being Rye, the family had also become well known for their special Rye bread and made sure that each future baker would learn how to bake their family's special recipe even at a young age. However, as Neil got older and was taught how to bake alongside his siblings, he began to notice how often his parents, especially his father, would restrict him to cleaning duty after the few times he baked the family rye bread. This did make him sad as he honestly loved the smell of baking and had the right drive to become an expert baker, and somewhere along the way the gesture did start to ostracize him from his siblings indirectly.

It really was until he became frustrated enough that he began to voice the injustice he was experiencing at home, and it would take a while before his family would reluctantly mention that he just wasn't good at the craft. They explained that as much as he tried and loved baking like his siblings, for some reason Neil always managed to make the products come out wrong. Neil couldn't understand where his family was coming from at all hearing this, and it all came to a point where in his confusion and frustration he decided to prove his family wrong when no one was watching. In the process of doing so however, he accidentally caused an explosion and their home caught on fire. The fire was bad enough to the extent they lost a good chunk of their property and had a casualty. They had to sell one of their other bakeries and loan money from others to pay off the damages and rebuild what was lost, causing them to sink into a financial debt for a while.

Neil naturally felt horrible for what he caused, and for a while he even became recluse for it. But for some reason the more he remembered having to watch the things he loved go up in flames, a strange passion would suddenly begin burning inside him as well. He'd eventually get out of his depression quite suddenly, vowing to do everything to make up for the damages, and from there his baking skills actually got better... and so did his talent in making things explode. Through his new skills, he even discovered how to make certain ingredients in his house blow up as another way to bake his goods, and through his ingenuity he was able to make money and help his family get out of the debt he caused.

Eventually though his drive to be a baker would slowly die down as his love for explosions increased. It got so bad to the extent he could no longer help his family with the bakery without risking burning something by accident or on absolute purpose. It was around this time someone who was visiting their shop randomly talked about the Koben army to another visitor, how they were looking for new recruits and how their airships came with very explosive artillery weapons... It came as no surprise that Neil signed up for the military the next day and said goodbye to his family without getting their blessing completely.

Years have passed since his entry into the military, and people can say letting him on the airships have done... Things to him. For the most part he seems okay in everyday situations, but you can still catch him doing extremely weird things to satisfy his love for explosions and baking. As soon as you put him on the battlefield where things have to blow up however, and you can be sure the man will get the job done with an almost maniacal look on his face...

Additional info:
- He can still bake things the normal way and come out with decent goods, though expect him to burn a few batches every now and then.
- His explosion baked goods are really that tasty.
- If he appreciates a person, he will most probably bake things for them, especially on their birthday... How he delivers birthday cakes though is very... questionable.
- Do not be surprised if his food taste like gunpowder at times.
- Parts of his eyebrows will always be missing. It's never consistent how much or which eyebrow is missing. One day his whole left brow will be gone, and on another it's just half of his right. No one understands how the rest of his body hair remains however. Perhaps his eyebrows are just that flammable.
- Neil always rolls up his sleeves as it's a habit he acquired from being a baker. His family had strict rules about getting sleeves dirty, and until now he still firmly follows said rules.
- No one knows if Neil is completely aware of the implications his explosions cause on other people. If asked, he tends to dodge the question, change topics or offer you actually decent looking and smelling cookies...That happen to be laced with hot peppers... Don't ask him about it.
- May also go by Nathan.
- He is also notably very hairy.
- As of late Neil's pyromania has gotten a little worse in that some hints of his manias have started to seep into his everyday outlook even when there is a lacking presence of fire, and he doesn't put as much of an effort to hiding this like usual. He has also found himself having random "good" days where he gets a lot more quiet, sentimental and almost normal looking, but they tend to be short lived and are followed up with sudden outbursts of extreme emotions. Thankfully it doesn't happen often, and it has yet to be actually witnessed by others since so far these moments have occurred when he's alone.

I wanted to interact with Koben characters so decided to make a military guy... I have no idea how he ended up like this though.

Truth be told, Neil is actually a recycled character yeah he was an SnK character at some point LMFAO, though I changed his name to Neil to show much of a different character he is now and because there's already some Nathans/Nates in the group LOL.

Welp. I hope this guy is okay. Also here's a close up of his *previous* headshot because there are simply some details in that drawing that cannot be missed.
