It's a shame about your scanner, really. It's clear that you're very good at 3-dimensional shading. The belt, the details on the hat and so on... It looks realistic and alive, which is great because drawings can sometimes become really flat and boring if the shading's not right. I don't know if you do this, but if you have a picture editor (it doesn't have to be very advanced), you could try to play around with contrast and so on, to make the drawing a bit clearer. The drawing looks great, I just wish I could see it better ; )Β

Thank you for your kind words! I have already tried to play a bit with it in the scanner's settings, especially with the brightness, because it turned out so bright I couldn't see a lot of details. I currently don't have any image editor, but I'll try and get PS, 'cause I want my drawings to be in the best condition. Anyway, if I manage to get a clearer scan of it, I will post it again. Thanks again! ^^

There was a time when I had another printer, which scanned better (as far as I remember), but it broke and I had to replace it with an older one I got for free from someone I knew xD I also took photos with my camera of some of my drawings, but now I guess the settings are messed up and they come worse than with the scanner. I plan to get a drawing tablet too, I don't particularly like drawing with vectors in SAI or PS. Hope I can count on some advice from you when I get one, haha ^^ Also, are you from Norway? I have been studying Norwegian for a few months (I guess I'm A2 -for now, at least, I'll start with A1 in autumn-), but don't ask me anything, 'cause I don't even remember how to say "I don't know" xD

Well, I'll try to get one as soon as I can, then. I've seen some on the Internet once, and I got my eyes on a Wacom (I think it was a Wacom Bamboo) which was only 100$ or so. Is it good enough? Also, I'm interested in Norwegian as it's something new for me and I really wanna go there some time, at least for a visit ^^Β
