The deep colors and aged paper gives us the feel of the real manuscript, while looking just updated enough to bring something new to the table e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b… " width="15" height="15" alt="

The main difference comes in the form of the updated detailing. The light-sourcing/shading added to the plant makes it pop out from the paper more. My eye is immediately compelled to TRY to read the text after seeing the illustration, only realize that it cannot be read!

I hope someone can interpret the manuscript. As far as I can tell, it has something to do with botanical practices of some sort. The writing looks like an advanced form of cursive writing.

there are a lot of theories out there, but none can be applied to the whole text with any degree of accuracy, yet. My hope is to one day gain access to the actual book, just to be in its presence. I expect I'll have to figure out some sort of paper to write on it so they let me see it.

This is really excellent work! Great plant design, it really fits the style of the Manuscript. The writing also looks flawles. In fact, it's already too good to be part of the Voynich Manuscript, the drawing skill and the shading are very good, but because of that it doesn't look as old as it could. But nevertheless, nicely done.
By the way, what did you use to dye the paper?

There is a process I use to dye the paper, and I use a variety of dyes. All my dyes can be found in your local grocery store, none are toxic and all are environmentally safe. This sheet of paper was dyed with coffee... french roast.
