Finally finished this piece, well as finished as it's going to get.I'm somewhat happy with the result, I could maybe get rid of the smoke trail, I just kinda threw it in there.
I was never a big Boba Fett fan, his brief appearance, few lines and cheesy death, but he does have cool armor.

Am I the only one who thinks the Mandalorian faction symbol is a bit.... out of place with the Mandalorians? I mean, it's a cool symbol, but I don't think it fits the Mandalorian personality very well.

There must be some reason for it, his original appearance was in a cartoon for the Star Wars Holiday Special. These character designers always have a reason for doing what they do I'm sure it means something, be interesting to know.

Nice picture, and I gotta agree with you about Boba Fetts dissapointing role within the movies. I allways thought he was a big pushover since he got his ass kicked by a giant sand bug.
This dosnt however mean that i would mess with him, because unlike a sarlac I am neither huge, nor can i swallow people whole.

And he was in 4 out of six of the movies plus the holiday special so I think that puts him ahead of Jabba and behind the Emperor as far as the biggest baddies of Star Wars goes.

Well I'm going to say that different is good. Who wants to be the same as everyone else. The problem with drawing comic book style or Manga style is that if you look at it collectively it all looks the same. I see this and try to do my own thing and always as an artist I am trying to improve on my skill and my style. Mind you this is big talk for a guy who has never worked professionally as an artist before in his life but when you got 4 kids sacrafices have to be made.
The down side of daring to be different is it probably only appeals to a minority. There's a demand for artists who can draw manga style or who draw like Adam Hughes, Why? Because it's cool and and what's hot. But it won't be long before another Todd Mcfarlane or Alex Ross come along and change everything again.

Like I said, very smooth pose, the shading is great as well, and the biceps looks fine now. The only thing you might wanna try is give the visor a brighter reflection, as on the rifle, but that's no biggie.

The best part of Boba Fett's brief screen time is when a blind Han Solo knocks him into the Sarlac Pitt.

Thanks, but remember he didn't die there. They brought him back in the EU novels because no one dies in the Star Wars universe, they even brought Darth Maul back.

But I thought they snuffed Chewie... is he destined to be the Barry Allen of the EU?
Besides, they just did that to shut up a bunch of whiners. Unless Lucas makes a seventh movie that shows him running around, I consider him dead.
