You woke up a while later, shocked to see that you were still in Slick's lap. Boxcars had left a few minutes ago. You looked up at Slick and saw him leaning on his arm, eyes shut and breathing steady. You sat up slowly, getting off of the couch. You smiled and went to your room. You got your stuff together and headed to the door. "Where are you going?" You turned and saw Boxcars standing there. "I'm going back to my apartment. I gotta wash my clothes from last night." He nodded. "Want me to come with ya? The Felt might be waitin' for ya, ya know," he said. You thought for a second. "...Yeah." He nodded again and you both left the hideout.

You two walked in comfortable silence, with you making random comments here and there. You led him up to your apartment and unlocked the door. "You can sit in here and watch tv, or something, until I get back," you said. Boxcars nodded, seating himself down and watching tv. You went to the laundry room and put your whites in first. You then went to your room, making sure everything was in place. You smiled, only for it to drop when a shadow fell over you. You turned around, only to get hit in the face.

Boxcars creased his brow, looking down the hall where your room was. 'What's taking her so long?' He sighed. He heard a loud, familiar thump. One only a body hitting the ground could make. Boxcars' eyes widened as he shot up from the chair. He bolted down the hall, thrusting the door open. He was met with the sight of you on the ground, struggling to get up, and small bloodstains on the white carpet. He looked around, hoping to find someone else, but you were alone. You sat up, rubbing your head. Blood painted your fingers as you pulled your hand back. Boxcars helped you up. "What the hell happened?" He asked, grabbing a first-aid kit from your bathroom. "I-I don't know! I walked in, turned around, and then I'm on the ground!" Boxcars grunted as he cleaned the wound on your temple. 'It might be The Felt,' he thought. 'But... I ain't tellin' her until I know for sure.'

After your temple was tended to, you both went back to the mainroom. You went to the laundry room and put your whites in the dryer and your colors in the washer. You leaned against the wall and sighed. 'Who was that? All I saw was an 8 and then I blacked out for a minute.' (A/N: OOOOHHH SNAP.) You crossed your arms. 'Should I tell Boxcars? Or Droog? Slick probably won't care. Deuce might blab to everyone.' You sighed again, feeling a bad migrain come on. 'I'll think about it later. My head hurts too bad.' You walked back to the mainroom. "Hey, Boxcars," you groaned out, rubbing your head. He rose a brow, turning to you. "I'm gonna stay here tonight. My head's hurting a lot, and I don't want Slick's yelling making it worse." He smirked and stood. "Alright. Get well, kid." He left, shutting the door behind him.

You sat down on the couch, rubbing your head still. Boy, did it hurt. You went and locked the door and took the whites out of the dryer, and the colors out of the washer. You put the whites in a basket, and the colors went in the dryer. You went back to the living room and layed on the couch. As you watched tv, you slowly went to sleep, not able to see the pair of eyes watching you from the window.
