Description This is yet another adaptation from my old Petticoat Detective series, "Sabotage at the Fashion Show." Tony is tricked into posing as a girl (my favorite ploy! ) and stumbles into a mysterious plot to sabotage a fund raising fashion show. What's a guy to do? Well, put on a skirt, some lipstick and a wig and go find out "whodunit," that's what!

In this scene Tony arrives at the big dance disguised as "Nancy." He's hot on the trail of the saboteur and has to do some snooping around as his pretty alter ego. Ah, the things our young hero will do to solve this mystery!

I love how his wig looks ill-fitting and his glasses look too big. It adds to the "disguise" feature of his costume, giving the reader clues that "she" is really a boy.

I also love his dress, a fluffy, skimpy thing picked out by the mischievous Mrs. Cartwright. I added the gloves and Tony's special fairy necklace to emphasis his feminine charms. The necklace is a gift from an earlier mystery where he saved a young girl from kidnappers.

It's a rough drawing ... I lost the original file somehow and it needs to be redone. Still, it gets the point across.

Here's the [link] if you find yourself getting curious. LOL!!!

One of these days I want to re-edit the darned thing, update the images and start another series. If I live long enough ... so much time, so little to do. No, strike that, reverse it!

Being introduced to a shy but handsome boy who clearly fancies you! You feel flattered. But how can this be? But then I am feeling more and more girly. Do I just give in to my feelings and see where it leads me. Little wonder I am blushing. Looking calm and demure, but feeling so scared and excited inside. Why do I get into these situations!

I love this little story! Tony wants to solve the mystery and help his friends, and his little disguise always gets him in such trouble. I think he likes the thrill of dressing up more than he does the danger of solving the mystery. He'll never admit it, of course, because he likes being a boy, too!

Having his girlfriend watch our hapless hero fend off the interested boy's advances must be doubly embarrassing!

That's the absolute point of that exercise!

Have you read the story? It's one of my faves. That scene at the dance was soooo much fun to write.

Still one of my favourite scenes from your old Petticoat Detective days.

Ahh......, the humiliation of being introduced to a boy while wearing a cute little prissy dress!

Will he realize I'm a boy? Will I be able to keep my panties from showing? What if he wants to kiss me? What did my girlfriend mean when she said she wanted to keep me like this always?

Ahh....... the fear and humiliation.........

Ah, old friend ... you get it, and I sooooo appreciate your sage wisdom and insightful interpretation.

The fear and the humiliation ... they are sooooo intoxicating and exhilarating ...
