Pokémon Gold and Silver - Ruins of Alph Soundtrack

Here is my Birthstone Gemsona: Sapphire. I actually made them around the same time as Sphalerite and Rosaline (being over a year ago), but scrapped them, because back then, they was just a generic Sapphire. Now, they are something completely different.
And I intentionally made them far taller and thinner than what a Sapphire should be, because they are a Defective Gem. They are undercooked, meaning that they are a lot bigger than considered natural on Homeworld, and it is because of this reason that their Gemstone has actually morphed itself into a distorted version of what it was meant to be. Some speculate that it's a second Gem growing inside the first, somehow resulting in a Fusion of sorts, but these theories have been mostly disregarded.
Their Gemstone is on their back, between their shoulder-blades.

As a major side-effect due to their Defect, they actually lack a gender, which is why I've been referring to them using gender-neutral pronouns. Though they possess breasts, this is only because it is a default feature that all Gems, regardless of stability, possesses. The large tufts of body hair (chest, armpits, and groin) are a sign of masculinity mixing with femininity.
Also, the huge mass of F L O O F Y hair is a really neat feature I wanted to include.

Sapphire is a Gem that actually behaves like a mindless, lumbering idiot. Unlike most Sapphires, they aren't intelligent whatsoever. If anything, they are more like a mildly-autistic child.
I don't mean any offence whatsoever to autistic people, it's just the route I've decided to take with them.
They don't register their surroundings, and don't really take too well to new people. They shy away and try hiding behind Gems or objects that are far smaller than themselves, to no avail. After a while, they will be accustomed to the newcomer, and treat them like a member of the family. They are quite childish, and doesn't register the repercussions of her actions.

Sapphire was bred on Homeworld, in the Volcanic Kindergarten (located in the Green Sector between Blue and Yellow Diamond's Regions), which is where thousands of Gems were once pumped out on a daily basis from beneath the layers of igneous rock. This was prior to Pink Diamond's unexpected Shattering. After a long, hard day of countless Sapphires, Rubies, Amethysts, Agates and Quartz being bred (under the harsh surveillance of countless Holly Blue Agates and Ice Jaspers), this Defective Sapphire exploded from out of the solidified lava, wearing her Blue Diamond uniform backwards.

Of course, the other Gems were mortified by the presence of this being. Sapphire, being Sapphire, didn't register the imposture of her presence in the Kindergarten, which was a desecration of Homeworld itself, in the eyes of the stable Gems. A certain Holly Blue Agate commanded a group of Ice Jaspers to escort Sapphire to "The Exiler": a Boulder Opal. The Exiler resided near the centre of the Spectrum Wheel, which was where the Diamonds themselves ruled over Homeworld with iron fists. He would be approached by Gems who needed a Defective or Traitorous Gem to be exiled from Homeworld - which is the fate that befell Sapphire.

The Exiler took Sapphire (as well as a few dozen Defective Gems) in his Ship to the place Homeworld dubbed "The Badlands".
It wasn't technically part of Homeworld - it was a colonised prison on one of Homeworld's many orbiting moons. It was a place of seclusion, of misery, of eternal torment. Some Gems were granted the pleasure of being Poofed and subsequently Bubbled, thus sparing them the pain of spending millenia in a futuristic Primeval. Sapphire, whether it be unfortunately or fortunately, was one of the Gems that were left to roam the barren wasteland.
This only made her barbarianism worse - she'd devolved into a savage being, somewhat similar to a Stone Age Caveman on Earth.

She'd suffered for countless centuries in this same agonising manner before IT happened.
The day the Crystal Gems took The Badlands by storm.
