There are many different concepts about the difference between hetrosexuality and homosexuality. There are a million names for them all but what does it really mean? Perhaps you might call yourself a '1' and be attracted to the opposite sex exclusively, or maybe you would be a '10' and be only attracted to the same sex. Maybe you feel that you fit somewhere in between or you feel like your position on the scale changes over time. Only you can determine. Just stay true to youself.

No offence to anyone here but I think that sexuality is much more fluid than people are willing to admit in this culture. It's like most people feel that they have to pick a side and then stick to those roles with a religous-like fervor.
Take for example those homosexuals or strights that do deviate from the norm and how much ridecule they suffer from "friends"& family. And don't even get me started on bi's and how much crap they get with people accusing them of not having the balls to "come out all the way".
I think that there would be much less conflict over this issue if people didn't feel the need to catagorize themselves like cereal in a supermarket.

I've been aware of the Kinsey Scale for well over a decade now, and I knew, and was cool with, the fact that I was in a nebulous zone.
As a result, I'm tired of people thinking options 1, 5 and 10 are the only options out there. Obviously, if you *ever* veer at *allllll* 1, you must be a 5, right? *sigh* But yeah, it's cool to see someone else, and apparently more than one "someone elses" gets it.
But, hey, when I was growing up, 5 wasn't even an option, and I've seen a *lot* of progress since then.

Does it matter? It's representational. If you fall on one end, the middle, or somewhere in between the middles, that's what matters. Numbers are arbitrary.
