Description Haven't uploaded anything original in a while. So here's something to show some signs of life.

She's a lovely friend of mine I met once on an international conference. I wished we could have got to know each other more. Only thing I regret is that we live in different countries (even though it's only a 30min airplane ride) and haven't had further personal contact since. I only get to talk to her by the internet.

Anyways... I went back somewhat to my roots on this one, and did it combining new techniques with older ones. I stray away from coloring skin, so doing a nude photo and coloring the skin was a bit challenging, to make the shadows and colors come out natural. I think I did a pretty good job. But I know I need more practice.

Lines: Illustrator CS5

Geeeezus Freddie, where the hell do you meet all these hot chicks. I may have to fly over to your neck of the woods, and start hanging out.

I don't feel that it's as strong as some of your other portraits, I don't feel as though you put as much love into this one. I could be wrong. Still a gorgeous girl to look at though.

hahaha now you see my pain of living in the tropics... I can't go out the door without watching a goddess somewhere!! And when visiting another country in the Caribbean (where I met her) it's the same thing.

Well... what helped me here is, she a natural beauty, this photo is very true to the original, even the white background, I only added the vignette to gave it depth, since the original she was at white canvas. I would have made another one, but... I didn't find any other in her profile photos that "popped". You are half right... I did it really quick just to do it, but also took my time on some stuff. I'm finding myself not doing much art lately, so I've been really quick ones on Facebook (they never reach here for that reason, very low quality for them to be here by my standards), she happened to see my folder with the quick drawings, and jokingly asked why there was none of her there! So grabbed and made her this quick one, it turn out pretty good for a quicky, so that's why this one made it here! hehehe
