Maggie is seething. More mysterious deaths, now with mysterious consequences, and Malaysia announced a whole new ranking dedicated to magic users. The world is moving in a direction she hates- privileging discovery of an unknown she fears more than everything. In the mirror, she saw nothing, then darkness. This world was not her world. It was the world of the witch.
She doubled her efforts in hunting, trusting her strength more than ever before. Fighting for the kill, going for the kill, no magic involved. She refuses to think about how it ends, because when she does, she feels her purpose slip away.

She wont let it. With scars of the hunt fresh on her hide, she seeks to finally exist. She is strong enough, she'll argue, when requesting a rank.
She'd be a Dios.

Mother is gone. Alone, Birdie disappears. Though her sister remains, just as shaken, Birdie doesn't have the right words to tell her. She just fades. Her pack is restless, animated by new deaths and new ambitions. But Birdie wasn't there when they buried the dead, when they announced the new rank, when they kept on seeking the answers. She sunk into the forest, and let her legs carry her when her instinct told her to go. Maybe she'd find mother. Maybe she'd find nothing at all.

In the end, she found resolution.
She got out of the forest, and joined her sister in the Rhete.

Nimrod saw one of the dead. She stood in the lake and cast them away- only to be found dead hours later. They felt guilty and scared; maybe even targeted. What was the Island telling them now? Tensions grow, the dead rise, and they feel in their guts that the world is turning into something the Island hates.
They wouldn't let it.

They stepped up as a Peacekeeper.
