Truth be told, he died the first time, but when you really think
about it: Smaller creatures have an advantage over large ones.
That's apart from the fact that he's pretty good with the shadow element.
Thank you! ;w;

Is there a limit to the number of creatures they can harness?
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
DaReckless In reply to DimensionalDragons [2016-02-26 21:45:33 +0000 UTC]
Technically no. But they have to care for any special needs for each creature, so
they won't harness every one under the sun...err...moons.

DimensionalDragons In reply to DaReckless [2016-02-26 21:59:15 +0000 UTC]
Oh, ok. That makes sense. Is there a way to unharness a creature?
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
DaReckless In reply to DimensionalDragons [2016-02-26 22:06:54 +0000 UTC]
Yup, just release them from the pocket dimension (the place where the creatures are kept) and remove their collars.
Though, there is a bond that is between you and the creature. So the stronger the bond, the harder it is for them to understand
their release.

What if they still try to stick around even after they are released?

DaReckless In reply to DimensionalDragons [2016-02-26 22:21:52 +0000 UTC]
Then you've got a bit of a problem.
But if the bond is strong then their obedience should be pretty high.
You have to get your creature to understand that they are free to leave now.
It's best to release them where their own kind is.

Has a creature ever broken free of its collar on its own or is that impossible?
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
DimensionalDragons In reply to DaReckless [2016-02-26 23:01:33 +0000 UTC]
Well what if the bond was weakened considerably, could the creature get its collar off and escape from the pocket if the bond was weak enough or something?
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
DaReckless In reply to DimensionalDragons [2016-02-26 23:06:45 +0000 UTC]
When I said bond, I meant emotional bond. The collar isn't as
strong as it seems and has nothing to do with the free will of the creature.
If you've managed to harness the creature that means you've defeated it in skilled
combat and forced it to acknowledge the dominant master. Depending on the
capabilities of the creature, the creature itself placed on its own provided collar.
Ergo, submitting to its master.
They've felt dominated and threatened enough to obey and not escape the pocket dimension.
Their level of skill and obedience is trained by the master. They are caught wild, but tamed
later on.
To answer your question in short, they can escape, but they usually feel too threatened to do so.
It can still happen though.
