Some back story! When Ben found out Aliza had the werewolf's curse, he was devastated to learn it after knowing her for years. As far as Aliza knows, the curse skips a generation in each female of her family as she never found out if her mother had the curse or not. When she came of age, her grandmother had told her about the curse and how they can control the transformations after decades of perfection. However, each person with the curse has a certain thing they needed to control in order to not turn when the moon was full. In order for Aliza to not turn, she had to control her hunger. As far as we know, she's only turned 3 times.
