Description
I always wanted to draw Zeus or better to say interpret him in my own way. When I started this piece few days ago I had few things on my mind. Mighty, wise, glorious and awesome. Also I wanted to make him further recognizable by adding thunder in his hand and eagle by his side.I had a great time drawing him and hope you will like him as much as I do.

Amazing picture my only criticism would be the eagle seems to steal the spot light so to speak, would have drawn the eagle a bit farther and made Zeus the focus of the art which the title and the "Zeus, King of the Gods" suggest.

Ok the asshole inside me just wont let me leave this piece be without saying it...we dont have this kind of eagles in greece , this is an american one , we have the golden/brown type

Great style and piece! My only point of contention would be that Zeus' eagle is historically depicted as a golden eagle, not a North American bald eagle.
