Description So, as some of you may have noticed I've been having fun making some concepts for Windows 10 (you can see a couple of them here: Windows 10 - Concept 4 , Windows 10 - Concept 3 ).

Anyway, one of the ideas I had for them was a sort of "compact Start Screen/Menu Hybrid" inspired by Windows Phone 8.1. To tell the truth I had already played with that idea with a Rainmeter skin, Str8 - Alpha .
Actually I kinda was in a slump with that skin because to make it really usable and customizable I would have had to recode it from scratch so I kinda abandoned it.

...That is, until a couple of days ago when I got the idea of how to make it look more like WP8.1.

As you can see, you can make it either dark or light.
Also you can make it so that you can see your desktop through it (if you choose this option I suggest you keep that area clean of icons and such as you'd end up seeing those too) or put a custom wallpaper slideshow (I'll cover these in the next previews).

As for what the tiles are for, you can guess they serve many purposes (kinda like my suite ) like system monitoring, app links, weather and music player info, etc.

Customization will be a big part of this project: users will be able to choose from different tile layouts for every row, plus you'll be able to choose a monochromatic theme or a multicolor one (ie. every tile has a different color).

A couple of features that I'm planning to add include:
°Search bar
°Shutdown submenu
°App List
°Multiple pages (scrolling pages are a no-go since it would use waaaaaay too much cpu)

Wheeew... that was a lot of stuff.

Anyway what do you think?
Is there any particular feature/tile/etc. you want? Tell me in the comments and I'll do my best to comply!

Looks nice! Is it resolution independent?
