Description
Your eyes widened. These days just become weirder and weirder....
"A-ah...I'll just leave you two alone..." Achilles smirked. Your eyes were already the size of moons.
Connor released you and coughed awkwardly.
"Erhm...I needed you to be silent." He coughed awkwardly, watching Achilles walk away. You rolled your eyes and huffed.
"He found us anyway though." You muttered. Not that you didn't like the kiss, you were just surprised.
Connor bit his lip. You mentally groaned at how cute it was.
"Well... We had a better chance of escaping!" He mumbled. You rolled your eyes and smacked him gently. Well. Not very gently. A smack rang around the forest and silence filled the area.
His face was tilted right; the direction you smacked him. His face was blank, void of emotion. A pink outline of a hand lined his tan skin.
"Pervert." You snickered jokingly, walking away, leaving him there. He stood there for quite a while. He grasped his check.
"Worth it." He sighed.
"Oi! Ah! Connor!" A male voiced shouted. His attention drifted to the voice.
"Hello! How are you, Norris?" He greeted the miner. He nodded.
"Fine, thank you. What's wrong with your face?" Hee asked, gesturing to the smack.
Connor sighed. "(Y/n)..."
"Ah. The French beauty the men here were speaking about..." Norris chuckled. Connor tensed subconsciously.
"French... Beauty?" Connor asked. Norris nodded with glee.
"Yes! If Myriam didn't live here, I would court her! She's a beauty." Norris smiled. "Myriam does live here, so I love her." He continued.
"So if Myriam didn't live here, you would court her? Wait, what does court mean?" Connor asked.
"Her hand in marriage. And yes, I would court her." Norris explained, scratching his arm. He yawned tiredly before something knocked the wind out of him.
"She's. Mine." He growled. Connor pushed the miner against the tree, holding him harshly against the rough bark. Norris's eyes widened.
"Calm down, my friend!" He screamed. Connor didn't budge.
"She's mine, and only mine!" He growled. His eyes were clouded with jealously. Norris weakly pried the man's hands off, successfully tumbling down to the ground.
"I am not, my friend!" Norris gasped. Connor calmed down.
"Oh! I'm so sorry! I don't know what's gotten in to me..." He shook his head, helping the fallen man up. The fallen man dusted his clothes off and stood up.
"Thank you. I understand. Women make men mental in 20 seconds..." Norris sighed, picking up his tools. Connor nodded and started climbing a tree to relax. Something he rarely got to do.
He closed his eyes after he got comfortable, think Norris left. No.
"You know, Connor...I heard that a man is in love with (y/n) and is with her right now. I think he is planning to court her soon." Norris shouted below him, walking away. Connor's eyes flew open as he fell out of his tree. Yes. His tree.
"What?! Not while I'm alive!" He hissed, running into the barely populated smal town at the Homestead.
"While I'm alive, no one gets her. She's mine. We'll fight to the death to see who she ends up with."
