Another scene from the Little Mermaid, the moment after she's turned human and she surfaces from the ocean for her first breath of fresh air.Debated on whether or not this should be marked as mature, but in the end since it didn't show anything and since it was a scene that was more or less directly? from the movie, I figured it would be ok. But I can't help but worry...so if you think it would be a good idea to mark it anyway, please let me know.

Thanks guys! I'm glad no one thinks this should be marked mature either, I really just wanted to make sure I wasn't being biased since it's my own artwork...I tend to worry a lot about these things. So thank you to everyone who commented, I feel more certain and reinforced now...lol.

Don't worry, I think you're okay not marking this as mature. I believe Ariel is the only Princess to have been portrayed as nude in one of her films, but it wasn't to an explicit degree by any means, so while you were smart to think about that, you're good to go. Now for the lighter stuff - it's very hard to say no to a shot like that involves a Princess throwing or tilting her head back if the artist pulls it off well - and you definitely did that, so give yourself a hand! (Faves)

Thanks, I think I was mostly worried about the fact she was nude and if taken out of context someone might even have found the pose suggestive...lol. You never know, but it is a scene directly from the movie, and one of my favorite scenes, so I had to draw it.

i currently have a line drawing of this part of the movie but i havent decided what to do with it yet, whether to paint it or shade it like u. your work is amazing and i love what uv done with the water droplets. hopefully mine will turn out as great as urs!

This is fantastic! How did you draw such an excellent face? Never mind the rest, just the face is enough to make me envious. This is just really great. I love the hair and the droplets splashing off. So cool. Love that part of the movie.
