Suddenly Danielle giggled, “This is just fucking great! Here we are in the back of a fucking van and you two are chatting like it’s fucking tea time!”Fungus blinked and then flinched, still unsure of humans in general. “W-w-w-what’s w-w-w-wro-wrong with her?”
Randall took in her glassy eyes and had a feeling what it was. “Shock…I think.” he grabbed her face in his three fingered hand and shook her head a bit. “Danielle? Danielle, come on girl! Snap out of it!”
She slowly blinked and became more focused and then looked at Randall and then Fungus and back to Randall. “Oh god.” she sloped a little, her head resting in her hand.
“Is s-s-s-she going t-t-to be alr-alright?” Fungus asked.
Suddenly Danielle began to curse, using unfamiliar words to Fungus. “She’s going to be fine…though I’ve never seen her that mad before.” Randall said as he patted her hair.

And hey! I drew Fungus! Wow! I think he turned out fine, but the color is so off. I don’t have the proper colored pencils for his color. Anyone know what color he’s suppose to be anyway?

btw I think his color looks fine. He's actually more a deep red, I guess, but considering you had limited art supplies, he looks great!

I think he looks fine. I use Farber Castle chalks/pastel sticks (the expensive stuff from France and Germany), but I'm not sure which colors *goes to look* [link]
I think I use something close to Geraniumrot hell, pale Geranium Lake for the base color (the light red), then I think I use something close to krapplack, madder for the shading (the dark blood red color), if that helps any.

I use Crayola,Rose Art, and CraZart colored pencils and markers. *feels like in kindergarten again*

The Faber/Castelle pastel sticks that Queen-Asante mentioned are available here in the US from Art supply stores like Michael's Arts and Crafts and Hobby Lobby, and are worth every penny. You might also want to check into getting a set of Prismacolor colored pencils, which are designed for professional artists. If you can do this well(*indicated pic above*)with Crayolas, just want until you see what can be done with Prismacolors!

Believe me, the most professional artists use the cheap stuff. Artists aren't rich. That was a gift from a friend who traveled to France, so it was nice of them to give it me. On my own, I couldn't afford it.

Thanks. I had saw a few others do the same thing and saw that it worked well and allowed me to focus more on the details of the drawn characters then worry too much about the background.

Yeah, my mom's scanner, that I use to scan my pictures, sometimes messes up the colors as well. That's one reason why I use Photoshop to redo them.

I used to use Microsoft Paint too. Not for DeviantART; just for fun. However, while I make the lineart on Photoshop, I use Paint to color in ref. sheets for my Lion King characters. You can see them in my Lion King folder in my Gallery.
