Description before i get rude comments, dont forget that you eat chicken for dinner, and your local butcher handles dead animals every day, so there isnt anything disgusting to see here.

________________
i took this series because i find it very difficult to find decent stock of birds. its a brilliant way to get to know their anatomy for drawers, and ive tried to make them as useful as i can for you stock users
hopefully they will be useful, i know they will be useful for my own art as i draw birds a lot XD
_______________
im guessing he died of something like a heart- attack, or bad food, because there are no wounds on him. he just fell out of the tree, and rigor mortis had already passed, eyes were liquid, so it must have been in the tree for around 4 days?
no maggots, and i wore gloves, /and/ sprayed it with a strong disinfectant before i touched it, so dont worry about diseases etc getting me XD

Yeh very fragile, I also got quite a scare by one when i walked upstairs into my study and this thing flew past me and i realized it was a pigeon. i had nooo clue how it got up there lol, took me ages to catch it i eventually threw this moderately weight clothe over it
and speaking softly and then stroking it so it would know i woudlnt hurt it and then placed it on my balcony so it could fly away, i didnt really wana throw it into the air like they do in the movies, i was afraid ti would drop to the ground 20 metres below. Iv saved alot of birds come to think about it, i remember i also hased a cockatoo up my street but it actually looke dliek i was chasing a cardboard box that move dof its own accord, hobbling up the street. Rather embarrsing i had to throw the box on the occkatoo cuz it slicedmy finger open, my dog had bitten its wing >< lol

Bleach works well i guess ><
smelly stuff.

awww yeh ive saved loads of them, my friends nan keeps the lost baby ones in a huge bird cage and feeds them and stuff, until theyr strong enough to be let free
i carried a pidgeon on my arm through the town center; it got caught up in a crowd, i think it was an old one, and then put it down out of the way people were so shocked to see it XD

Yeh the more i think about ti the more i rememember all the times iv had interactions with birds and pigeons ahha. Pigeon lady. Once iw as eating chinese for lunch and one jumped on my thigh and tried to attack a piece of pork, i think it was a domesticated one because it had this funky faux hawk do going on and a little tag on its ankle.

haha, strange, you dont expect them to be so tame but every now and then one will be completely comfortable with humans, and they can be so cheeky XD

Lol yeh i know, but i was sort of confused and disgusted it was going for the pork, maybe it was the sauce. I dont think this was a wild one though because of the tag.... i just hope its ownder didnt feed it meat...

well...i think theyr beautiful
theyr no different from any other bird, except that there are a lot of them.
people find them less attractive because they look dirty because of the colours of their feathers, but theyr no different from your common black-bird or crow...or whatever other garden birds there are XD
