Decided to fully color and shade my Yamask/Honedge hybrid concept in order to better illustrate how hybridization mutations can work in !

Pokemon Shard Chaser is a Mystery-Dungeon style roleplaying group that takes place in a world where reality has been broken and sometimes those pieces will take on the form of energy shards.

Due to the broken reality, mutations have begun to form in some pokemon, and some hybrid pokemon have even begun to appear when two pokemon breed (of the same species of course).

This Yamask/Honedge hybrid keeps more or less the shape of a Honedge, but then adapts parts from Yamask. The hilt/head of Honedge has become the head/body of a Yamask, while the sheath has grown, changed color slightly, and and looks a bit like the Yamask's mask from the front.

There are two 'mutations' in this hybrid, the first being that the 'blade' is curved instead of straight. The second is that there are stripes along the fabric of it's arm.

And as a final piece, bandages were added as an 'accessory'.
