All those moments were very heart-touching for me.
With Kovu being blamed Nuka's death, it became even sadder t me, when I discovered the uncut (if unfinished) version of Nuka's death which made both Zira blaming Kovu, and Nuka's death even sadder for me:

Goodbye May Seem Forever didn't make me cry as a kid because I wasn't paying attention to the lyrics but it did when I got older. The part where Mrs. Tweed was trying to get Tod not to follow her home, crying while looking back at Tod one last time, and driving away didn't make it any better.
