10. Squidward Tentacles (Spongebob Squarepants): Ah, Squidward. The old lovable grump. Unfortunately, the show hasn't been very kind to him since Stephen Hillenberg left. Everything from season 5 to season 9 shows poor Squid getting maimed and tortured in various ways FOR NO REASON! While he may find Spongebob annoying, Squidward's not really a bad guy, he just wants some peace and quiet, and let's face it, we can all relate to that.

9. Princess Celestia (MLP: Friendship is Magic): Why does Celestia always get the short end of the stick when it comes to character development? This show has 6 seasons so far, and we haven't learned anything about our beloved sun princess (apart from her being Twilight's mentor, and Luna's older sister). Luna's already got 2 episodes devoted to her, why not give Celestia at least one?

8. Sabrina (Miraculous Ladybug): Poor Sabrina, always treated like the queen bee's personal lackey. Even after her little BFF moment with Chloe in Anti Bug, Chloe still manages to walk all over her and treat like the butt of every joke. I know that Sabrina's only trying to follow Chole's lead, just to stay with the in-crowd, but geez! The least Chole can do is be a little nicer to her "best friend".

7. Princess Daisy (Super Mario Bros.): Now, I haven't played a lot of the Super Mario games growing up, but from what I can tell, Daisy is one of the most underutilized characters in the franchise. Every since her debut in Super Mario Land, Daisy's never appeared in any other Mario games, apart from sports spinoffs. Hell, she isn't even a playable character in Super Smash Bros. yet (even though they've made Peach and Rosalina playable)! Daisy may not be the most "interesting" Mario character there is, but she has the potential to be, if Nintendo would just promote her more.

6. Meg Griffin (Family Guy): Wow, where do I even start with her? Well, in my opinion, her abuse in Family Guy was never that funny to begin with, but it's gotten so much worse with each new season. I never even got the whole point behind her abuse anyway. At least in the earlier seasons of Spongebob, Squidward sometimes actually deserved to get punished. What the hell did Meg do to deserve so much pain and misery throughout 99% of Family Guy? What's the joke here?!   Also, I really don't think Meg's that ugly, to be honest.

5. Kairi (Kingdom Hearts): In the first Kingdom Hearts game, Kairi was introduced as one of the 7 Princesses of Light, then in Birth by Sleep, she "accidently" inherits Aqua's keyblade as a small child, then in Kingdom Hearts 3D: Drop Distance, Yen Sid decides to train her to be the 7th keyblade wielder. So tell me, Square Enix...WHY ISN'T KAIRI A PLAYABLE CHARACTER YET IN THESE GAMES?! I mean, you've given her character so much build up in previous games, and she has the potential to be more than just a damsel in distress. Heck, even Xion was a playable character in 358 1/2 Days, and I'm pretty sure Aqua's a playable character in the latest game, so why not Kairi?

4. Penny (RWBY): I loved Penny ever since her introduction in RWBY. She was a badass android who took crap from no one, yet had very little understanding of friendship before she met Ruby. She even expressed a desire to become human at one point, but ended up getting killed by Emerald with her own weapon.

3. Team 8 (Naruto): I was going to put Team Gai on here too, but I feel like no one ever talks about Team 8 as much, so I decided to have this just be about Team 8 for now.

Man, I really wish these characters got more attention in the second half of the manga. They had SO MUCH potential! Hinata may not have been quite as ignored as her teammates or sensei, but Kishimoto still should've given her actual canon in-depth interactions with her family, and also her own fight scene where she actually wins (and no, I don't mean against white Zetsus or mini Jyuubi clones, I mean win against an actual villain). Kiba and Shino were also really badass in Part 1, but Kishimoto almost completely ignores them in Part 2! Even Team Guy had spotlight during the "Gaara Rescue" arc. And Kurenai, while not the only female sensei in the manga, was practically the only female sensei in the Konoha 12, and she spends ALL of Part 2 pregnant and alone! Kishimoto didn't even have Team 8 comfort her after Asuma's death! What a waste.

1. Nina Tucker (Fullmetal Alchemist): Oh boy...if you think Meg Griffin has it bad with her father, you are NOT going to like what happens to poor little Nina in this series. Her bastard of a father was looking for a way to create a live chimera, and so, he fused together this sweet 4 year old girl with her own dog, and turned her into a HIDEOUS, miserable monster! Thankfully, that asshole father of hers was killed by Lust and Gluttony before he was able to do anymore harm to her, but unfortunately, she gets killed by Scar immediately after escaping her father's laboratory.
